Ernest Scott (Veteran)

Ernest Emil "Ernie" Scott, 94, of Jefferson City, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Jefferson City. Mr. Scott is survived by his two daughters, Ivah Scott of Jefferson City and Diana Scott of Nahunta, Georgia; and granddaughter, Janet Mengwasser of Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Scott. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10 at the First Baptist Church in Montgomery City. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service, Saturday, at the church. Inurnment with full military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Wellsville Cemetery.
