Dorothy Kluge

Dorothy J. Kluge, 81, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at her residence. She was born on June 19, 1930, in Walsh County, North Dakota, daughter of the late Arthur and Annetta Stenerson Lindell. She was united in marriage on August 20, 1958, in Valley City, North Dakota to Lawrence Kenneth "Lefty" Kluge, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2001. Dorothy taught school for over 50 years, teaching most recently at New Bloomfield R-3 School until the summer of 2011. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. She is survived by her three daughters: Georgianne Huckfeldt of Jefferson City, Kaylin Kluge of Linden, Texas, and LaDonna Feagler (Craig) of Torrington, Wyoming; three siblings: Alfred Lindell (Mary Ann), Ardys Mandt, and George Lindell, all of North Dakota; three grandchildren: Adam Huckfeldt, Keegan Huckfeldt, and Megan Milloway. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Schubert, where Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gerald Scheperle officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church or Charity of the Donor's Choice.
