Sandra L. Goodin

Ms. Sandra L. Goodin, age 59 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Heisinger Bluffs. Sandy was born January 28, 1953, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Frederick D. and Frances L. Fugate Goodin. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Sandy was a 1971 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a graduate of William Woods College in Fulton, Mo. She was employed with the State of Missouri as a Paralegal for several years. Sandy enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family. Survivors include: one brother, Tom Goodin of Jefferson City, Mo. and two sisters, Sally Klein of Springfield, Mo. and Pam Hall of Brooklyn, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred Goodin Jr. and E. Pash Goodin; and one sister, Nancy Wise. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2012. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Freeman Chapel. Private graveside services and interment will be conducted at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Legion 40 and 8 Nursing Program, 1423 Tanner Bridge Road, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
