Sharon Michelle Keeran, 57, of California, died on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Landmark Hospital in Columbia from complications of a car accident on December 27, 2011. She was born on March 12, 1954, in Independence, the daughter of James and Shirley (Hill) Evans. She was married on December 31, 1987, in Camdenton, to Layton Edward Keeran Sr. who preceded her in death on March 8, 2011. Sharon graduated from Raytown High School. She had worked at the Moniteau County Sheriff's office and was a registered LPN, having worked at nursing homes in the California area and the Missouri Department of Corrections. She enjoyed crocheting, handwork, quilting and her beloved dogs Sophie and Tilly. She is survived by: her parents, Camdenton; one son, Layton Edward "Eddie" Keeran Jr. and his wife, Billie Jo, California; three daughters, Monica Green and her husband Delbert, California; Linda Keeran, Tipton; and Jessica Nicole Myers, Camdenton; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by one sister, Charla Nell Evans on December 11, 1973. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 12 noon - 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at the Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, with a memorial graveside service at Shiloh Cemetery, near California, to follow the service. Memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak St., California, MO 65018.
