John Bailey (Veteran)

John Lewis Bailey, 63, Jefferson City, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Capital Region Medical Center. John was born in San Francisco. He served 11 years in the Air Force and two tours in Vietnam. His specialty was computer programming. He often worked in Information Technology. He was passionate about helping people with their computers. He loved fishing. John was a man of stout character, unquestioned integrity. He volunteered at various schools installing or revamping computer labs. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jenni; four daughters, Angela of Bogata, Columbia; Jennifer of Sacramento Calif., Marianne of the Melbourne, Fla. and Michelle of Ephrata, Penn. and six grandchildren. His body was cremated. There will be a service at 10 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012, at Memorial Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
