Thelma M. Schultz, 99, of Jefferson City, died Monday, January 9, 2012, at St. Joseph Bluffs. She was born October 9, 1912, in Ulman, Missouri, a daughter of Joseph Cleveland and Maude Martha Margaret Ann (Crane) Shikles. She attended Jefferson City schools. On August 23, 1942, Thelma was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Richard John Schultz, who preceded her in death on January 18, 2008. Thelma was the office manager for Shikles Motor Company for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she attended the Winston Sunday School class, and was a past member of the St. Mary's Health Center Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters: Sharon Ann Dove of Jefferson City, Karen Sue Ferguson and husband Michael of Buckner; six grandchildren, six great- grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Lonnie Shikles and Price Shikles, and a son-in-law, Les Dove, preceded her in death. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Doyle Sager officiating.
