Marie B. Eisterhold, age 91, of Rich Fountain, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at Westphalia Hills Retirement Center. Marie was born September 11, 1921, in Jefferson City, a daughter to the late Stephen and Barbara (Struemph) Boes. Marie attended Sacred Heart School and received her GED. On August 14, 1946, Marie was united in marriage to Michael Eisterhold in Rich Fountain. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1997. Marie was a homemaker and worked as a cook at the Sacred Heart Catholic School in Rich Fountain. Marie was a member of the Sacred Heath Catholic Church, the Sewing Circle, and St. Annís Sodality. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and working word puzzles. Marie is survived by: two sons, Gerard Eisterhold and his wife Kate of Kansas City, Mo., Rob Eisterhold and his wife Charlene of Linn; four daughters, Joanne Geels and her husband Daniel of Seattle, Wash., Barbara Shanholzer and her husband Terry of Tampa, Fla., Rosie Sambaluk and her husband Nick of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Marcie Eisterhold of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain. A prayer service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, December 28, 2102, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain with Fr. Philip Niekamp as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
