David A. Krummen

David A. Krummen, 65, of Sparta, Missouri, formerly of Jefferson City, died Monday, August 27, 2012, at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital. He was born April 4, 1947, in Jefferson City, the son of David Lawrence and Bonnie (Lindsey) Krummen. He was a 1966 graduate of Jefferson City High School. On May 20, 1967, David was united in marriage to Beverly Phillips, who survives at their home. David was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1967-1970. He was a auto mechanic, working for Duke Wellington Motors, Carmichael Imports, Poettgen Automotive and the City of Jefferson. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Schubert. He enjoyed fishing and traveling with his family. Other survivors include one son, Robin Lee Krummen of Jefferson City, and one grandson, David James Krummen of Jefferson City. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Schubert, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
