Nancy Ann Holtmeyer

Nancy Ann (Haller) Holtmeyer, 73, of Eldon, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at her home. She was born on August 4, 1938, in Lake Linden, Michigan, to Herman and Alice (Pelland) Haller, who preceded her in death. Nancy married James L. "Jim" Holtmeyer on May 4, 1963, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lake Linden, Michigan. James preceded her in death on August 21, 1991. Nancy attended Lake Linden-Hubble High School and Oak Park Hospital of Nursing. She was employed for many years as a Medical Transcriptionist for Still Regional Medical Center, Memorial Hospital, Medquist, Capital Regional Medical Center, Lake Regional Hospital and private doctors. She was currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Miller County Ambulance District Board, for which she was involved with for the past 14 years and had served as President. Nancy had been involved with the Miller County Fair Board, Future Farmers of America, Still Regional Medical Center Guild and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Nancy had a bubbly outgoing personality who loved her family and friends and enjoyed being a part of many community and church activities. Nancy is survived by her son, Kevin James Holtmeyer; two daughters, Kelli Ann Holtmeyer and Kari Alyce McNeil; her grandchildren, Mycah James Lynn, Brayden Loren Hale and Eva Nycole Ann McNeil, all of Eldon. A step-sister, June Witta of Lake Linden, Michigan; a step-brother, Francis Laverdiere of Flint, Michigan, also survives her. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her brother, Roy Haller, and son-in-law, Kevin McNeil. Visitation will be on Friday August 3, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eldon, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on August 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Donald Lammers officiating. Interment will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett. Memorials are suggested to the Eldon Ministerial Alliance.
