Joseph Jerome Bonchonsky, 57 of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at his residence. He was born March 13, 1955, in Meshopper, Pa., the son of the late Joseph J. and Lucy V. (Henninger) Bonchonsky. On July 16, 1993, in Jefferson City, he was united in marriage to Deborah LoPiccolo, and she survives at the home. Joe attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York. After college he was employed with the Lodge of the Four Season's and then with Central Bank, where he was the chef for Sam Cook. Joe was the president and Founder of Motorcycle Ministries Inc., was a member of the Tribe of Judah Motorcycle Ministries and was the Chaplin at the Cole County Jail. Joe's love for others showed in his passion for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Joe enjoyed gardening, playing golf and hunting waterfowl. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. Along with his wife Deborah, he is survived by one son: Sean Bonchonsky (fiancÈe Brittany); two daughters: Nikki Wise (husband Jason) of Wichita, Kan. and Marika Bonchonsky (fiancÈ Mark) of Jefferson City; one brother: John Bonchonsky of Kingston, Pa.; two sisters: Helen Evans of Newington, Conn. and Mary Kay Wayne of White Plains, N.Y.; seven grandchildren: Parker, Connor, Kaiden, Owyn, Carson, Makiya and Trey; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. A Celebration of Joe's Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. A biker's funeral procession will follow after the funeral service to Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
