Genevieve Luck

Mrs. Genevieve A. Luck, age 80 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at St. Mary's Health Center. Genevieve was born March 3, 1931, in Eugene, Mo., the daughter of Richard and Elva Norfleet Bond. She was married on April 6, 1951, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Bob V. Luck, who preceded her in death on August 29, 2011. A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Genevieve graduated from Jefferson City High School. A homemaker, Genevieve had been employed with the Missouri Highway Dept. for several years. She was a charter member of Concord Baptist Church. Survivors include: one son, Bob V. Luck Jr. and his wife Janel of Jefferson City, Mo.; one daughter, Barbara Ebersold of Jefferson City, Mo.; four grandchildren, Brianne Luck, Chelsea Luck, Lawrence Ebersold, and Christopher Ebersold; one great-grandson, Damain Ebersold; and two sisters, Velma Gipson and her husband Jay of Liberty, Mo. and Patricia Ann Franklin of Fulton, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Lenora Klein. Visitation will be at Concord Baptist Church from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2011, at the Concord Baptist Church with the Reverend Peter Livingston officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Damain Ebersold Educational Fund.
