Harry Bunte (Veteran)

Harry Benjamin "Ben" Bunte, 64, of Jefferson City, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Capital Region Medical Center. Ben was born to Arlo and Charlotte (Jonte) Bunte, July 16, 1947 in Quincy, Ill. Ben served in the United States Army from 1967 as a decorated Vietnam veteran, and was honorably discharged in 1969. On June 1, 1996, he married Brenda Hobbs in Jefferson City, Mo. She survives him of the home. He is also survived by five step-children and five step- grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service conducted by Pastor Allen Golden will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Old Paths Baptist Church, 1106 St. Mary's Blvd., Jefferson City, Mo. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Private family burial of the cremains will be in West Prairie Cemetery in Middletown, Mo.
