Maxwell Allen Blase

Maxwell Allen Blase, age 12, of Rolla, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at his home. He was born June 7, 1998, at Rolla, a son of Tracy and Charity (Hughes) Blase. He was a member of the seventh grade class at Rolla Middle School and enjoyed music, poetry, reading, drawing, writing, history, gardening and being outdoors. Survivors include: his father and step-mother, Tracy and Deanna Blase, Jefferson City; his mother and step-father, Charity and Thomas Norton, Rolla; two brothers, Payton and Samuel Blase, both of Rolla; one half-sister, Zoe Norton, Rolla; paternal grandfather, Roger Blase, Waupun, Wis.; maternal grandparents, Bill and Janice Hughes, Dixon; maternal great-grandmother, Jane Lifer, Washington; and paternal and maternal step-siblings. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, March 28, and 9-10 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011, with a remembrance service at 7 p.m. Monday, all in the Dixon Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes.
