Billie Mae (Machon) Ash, age 63, of Camdenton, formerly of Brumley, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born in Springfield on February 17, 1948, daughter of Willie and Mae (Morrow) Machon. On May 27, 1966, in Crocker, Billie married Thomas Wesley Ash, who preceded her in death on August 22, 1993. Billie was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Richland. She is survived by two sons, Tom Ash and wife Regina of Ulman and Tim Ash and Laura Tipler of Jefferson City; one daughter, Rachel Robinett and husband Dean of Brumley; her mother, Mae Duncan of Montreal; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six siblings, Delbert Machon of Iberia, Bonnie Hedgepeth of Harrisonville, Janet Darr and husband J.R. of Vienna; Bobbie Schmidt of Jefferson City, James Sherrell and wife Cindy of Montreal, and Bessie Cotten and husband Robert of Eldon; sister-in-law, Penny Allee and husband Charles of Brumley; two brothers-in-law, Les Ash of Brumley and Jess Ash and wife Debbie of Iberia; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her father, Willie Machon; and one brother, Carl Machon. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 28, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Pastor Leslie S. Darr Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in Robinett Cemetery in Brumley. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, at the funeral home.
