Alberta Fischer

Alberta L. Fischer, age 77, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Jefferson City Manor. She was born September 21, 1933, at home in Lohman, the daughter of Julius and Augusta Kautsch Fischer, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Stringtown. Alberta belonged to the Lady's Auxillary at the Luthern Church in Stringtown, and the Circle Five at Trinity Luthern Church. Alberta enjoyed family get togethers. Survivors include: many loving nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by two brothers: Mahlon Fischer and Norman Fischer; and two sisters: Celesta Fischer and Donnabell Loesch. Funeral services were held Monday, June 6, 2011, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Stringtown, with Pastor Warren Brandt officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Johns Cemetery Fund or the Trinity Lutheran Bldg. Improvement Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Weber Funeral Home in Russellville.
