Zellora Rea

Zellora (Jeanne) Rea, 85, of Tipton, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at Moniteau Care Center. She was born on May 7, 1926, in Morning Sun, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Letha (Mcafee) Cary, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married on December 17, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, to Dr. George David Rea, who preceded her in death on April 29, 2007. She was a homemaker and helped her husband in his chiropractic office. She was a resident of Tipton from 1963 ñ 2004, and was a member of the Tipton Assembly of God church. Survivors include: two sons, Shawn Rea and wife Linda of Highland, Ill. and George Rea and wife Kathy of Grey Court, S.C.; two daughters, Dorothy Huff and husband Dr. Carroll Huff of California and Bonnie George and husband Jerry of California; three brothers, David, Jim and Marvin Cary; two sisters, Baja Hogan and Marlene Snyder; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Twyla, Lois, Zelda and Mary; and four brothers, Floyd (her twin who died at birth), Dean, Ellis and Charlie. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California. Burial will be in California City Cemetery. Officiating will be her nephew, Pastor Danny Cary. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. ñ 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Susan G.
