Mr. William W. "Bill" Beazley, age 84 years, of Tebbetts, Mo., passed away Friday, January 7, 2011, at St. Mary's Health Center. Bill was born May 12, 1926, in Willow Springs, Mo., the son of William H. and Lela M. Whited Beazley. He was married on November 10, 1950, at Salem, Ark., to Rebal M. Whiteside, who preceded him in death on March 15, 1997. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Bill graduated from Willow Springs High School and graduated from a ministerial seminary. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a Southern Baptist minister for over 55 years and served in numerous churches, some of which were in Bland, Crystal City, College Hill, and Portland, Mo. Bill was currently a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Mo., where he enjoyed the fellowship he had with his church family. One of his favorite things was fishing on the river with his family. Bill was a person who loved helping and talking with people. He will truly be missed. Survivors include: one daughter, Jan Shields and her husband Eddie of Alton, Mo.; one son, Terry D. Beazley of Wardsville, Mo.; one daughter-in-law, Janet Beazley of Wardville, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren, Katlyn Beazley, Kelly Beazley, Austin Beazley, Haylee Beazley, Hunter Beazley, Kegan Beazley, Harry Shields, Gene Shields, James Shields, and Jason Shields. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one son, Glenn E. Beazley on June 21, 2009. Graveside services and interment were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2011, at the Riverview Cemetery near Tebbetts, Mo., with the Reverend Brian Credille and the Reverend John Glover officiating.
