Brian Lee Helming

Brian Lee Helming, 33, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, August 4, 2011. He was born January 9, 1978, in Jefferson City, a son of Ronald and Patricia Hampton Helming. He attended Jefferson City Public Schools. Brian enjoyed his work as a carpenter building houses. He liked canoeing and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Patricia Helming of Elston; one sister, Kathy Cooper (Wes Means) of Jefferson City; two brothers: Ronald Helming Jr. of Sedalia, Randy Helming of Elston; his girlfriend, Misty Hake; three nephews, Devin Helming, Chad Helming, Abney Cooper; and two nieces, Haley Helming and Tammy Helming. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., today, Sunday, August 7, at Solid Rock Family Church, where funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Joe Skiles officiating. Interment will follow in the Elston Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Brian Helming in care of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
