Patti Lou Ferguson

Patti Lou (Pat) Ferguson, age 89, of Camdenton, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011, in Osage Beach. She was born September 19, 1921 in Essex, the daughter of Marion and Christine (Hux) Darby. On January 25, 1938, she was united in marriage to James Samuel Ferguson. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1993. Since the death of her husband, she has resided in the beautiful Ozark Hills near Ha Ha Tonka that she dearly loved. Even though she was employed outside the home at times, her greatest role in life was homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was an avid bird watcher and loved working with flowers. She was happiest when spending time with her family. She was a member of Dry Fork Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Richard Ferguson and his wife Reva, of Jefferson City, Don Ferguson and his wife, Linda of Jefferson City, and David Ferguson and his wife Norma, of Camdenton; one daughter, Debby Hutton and her husband Randy, of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Ferguson, Rhonda Anderson, Cris Ferguson, Nicole Hoff, Aubrey Ferguson, Matt Kassebaum, Grace Ferguson and Caleb Hutton; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Lynn Hill, of Bumpass, Va. She will be laid to rest at Lake Memorial Gardens in Osage Beach. There will be a private memorial service for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus Foundation of Osage Beach, 4681 Osage Beach Parkway #16, Osage Beach, MO 65065.
