Donna Knuth

Donna S. Knuth, 79, of North Port, Florida, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was born June 17, 1931, in Auburn, Washington ,to Don and Ella Soper. Donna lived in Jefferson City, Missouri for 40 years before moving to Florida in 1993. She graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash. She was a public school teacher for 26 years, receiving several commendations for service; she was also the "Library Lady" on a local TV station (KRCG) for a number of years, reading and introducing library books to children. She participated in amateur theatre and story telling in the last few years. Donna was a life long member of the Christian Science Church. Donna will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors and friends who will keep her memory in their hearts. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert; three children, Robert of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; Philip of Apopka, Fla.; Krysan Garagnani of Elkton, Md. and five grandchildren. By her wishes there will be no services or memorials.
