Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Nilges, 76, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born September 30, 1934, in Henley, a daughter of the late Earl and Ida (Gaither) Roark. She was a 1952 graduate of Cole R-V High School. Jackie worked and retired as a Legal Secretary for the Missouri Attorney General's Office. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and dancing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by a son, Mitch Hodge (Peggy Cook) of Jefferson City; a sister, Zelma Tellman and two brothers, Cecil Roark (wife Judy) and Arthur Roark (wife Billie), all of Henley; a grandson, Cody Hodge of California; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Therkelsen; and six brothers, Earl "Bud" Roark, Elba "Ammonette" Roark, Luther Roark, James Roark, Maynard Roark, and Charles Roark. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Murl Nash officiating. Interment will be held at Hickory Hill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
