Mrs. Judith C. Good, age 71 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. Judith was born December 12, 1938 in Lamar, Mo., the daughter of T. Gordon and Bertha D. Johnson Williams. She was a 1956 graduate of Aurora High School, Aurora, Mo. She also attended Metro Business College and Columbia College. While a resident of Aurora, Judith was a cosmetologist. A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1980, Judith was employed in sales with the 3M Company that later became ZBM Company. Later, she was employed in customer service at Scholastic, Inc. Judith was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Aurora, Mo. She was a volunteer at the Clarke Senior Center in both the cafeteria and playing bingo. She supported the Marine Corps League and was active in the Aurora Class of 1956 reunions. She enjoyed spending time with her family, neighbors, and friends and entertained them with her many jokes and stories. Survivors include: one son, Scott A. Mayhew and his wife Margaret of Jefferson City, Mo.; one daughter, Evette L. Williams and her husband Rufus of Jefferson City, Mo.; two grandchildren, Jordan Stokes and Kayla of Jefferson City, Mo. and Rufus Williams, II; and three great- grandchildren, Maluanna Stokes, Jordan Stokes Jr., and Jhayse Stokes. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Janice L. Thompson. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 22, 2010, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Monte Shinkle officiating.
