Jacqueline V. Adam, 90, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born September 13, 1919, in Little Rock Ark., a daughter of the late William and Mary Constance (Steen) Giles. She attended Cleveland High School in South St. Louis and also William Woods College. Jacqueline retired as a department manager from Sears at the Crestwood Plaza, St. Louis. She enjoyed golfing and bowling and loved to fish with her dad. She was a member of the Catholic church. She is survived by one son, Ronald Adam (wife Mary) of Wardsville; four grandchildren, Christopher C. Adam (wife Libbie) of Wardsville, Amy Roessler (husband Charles) of St. Louis, Paul H. Adam (wife Emma) of Austin, Texas, and Nicole Jacqueline Jones (husband Chad), of Honolulu Hawaii; one sister, Margaret Sowers (husband Jack Hornecker) of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; one niece, Cynthia Julson of England; and six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Caroline Adam, Dawson and Wyatt Jones, and Abigail and Maximus Roessler. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Martin Adam. Funeral services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum, Tuesday May 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., St. Louis, where interment will follow. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Susan G.
