Trent Jones

Trent A. Jones, age 17 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, March 22, 2010. Trent was born April 29, 1992, in Fulton, Mo., the son of Troy A. and Carole L. Anderson Jones. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Trent attended the Jefferson City Academic Center. Trent was on the Jefferson City Speed Skating Team and enjoyed skateboarding, listening to music, and hanging out with his family and friends. Survivors include: his parents, Troy and Carole Jones of Jefferson City, Mo.; three sisters, Brittany Montes and her husband Jonathan of Jacksonville, Florida, Ashley Holt and her husband James of Fulton, Mo., and Holly Jones of Jefferson City, Mo.; one brother, Sean Jones of Jefferson City, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Nile and Caroline Jones of Springfield, Mo.; two nephews, Gunner Holt and Dreyden Holt; and his uncle, Charles Anderson and his wife Shelly and their children, Austin and Dylan. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Iris and Charles Anderson. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend James Kimbro officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Trent Jones Memorial Fund.
