Norman R. Loesch, 86, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at his home. He was born December 1, 1923, to Edward and Anne Miller Loesch. He was married to Donnabell Fischer Loesch for over 25 years. She preceded him in death in 1981. Norman was a lifelong resident of Jefferson City. He worked raising cattle and crops on his farm. He retired at age 81. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served as an usher for over 40 years. He helped with the barbeques at the church as long as he was able. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Norman loved his family and his farm. We will always remember his sense of humor and his kind spirit. Survivors include: a brother, Daniel Loesch of Jefferson City; a sister, Edith Hammond of Jefferson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Janet Loesch of St. Louis; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Tom Cargin of Kansas City; and four grandchildren, Kristen and her husband James Moynihan, Kathryn Loesch, Alex Cargin and Steven Cargin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two sisters, Nora Linsenbardt and Alice Stubinger. He will always be remembered and loved by family and friends. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. John Hobratschk officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Family requests donations to Trinity Lutheran Church, 803 Swifts Highway, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
