Olinda Plochberger

Olinda A. Plochberger, age 95, of Lohman, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City. She was born May 19, 1915, in Lohman, a daughter of the late J. Christian and Anna K. Fischer Pistel. On August 30, 1938, at her parent's home, Olinda was united in marriage to Albert W. Plochberger, who preceded her in death October 27, 1963. She was a homemaker, busy raising her five children. She was a lifelong, faithful member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman, where she was active in the Ladies Aid (now the WELCA). Olinda enjoyed quilting and raising a garden. Her greatest enjoyment came from the time she could spend with family and friends. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Leroy Plochberger of Lohman and Wilfred and Jennifer Plochberger of Jefferson City; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Doris Ann and H.F. Seidel and Marie Scheperle, all of Lohman and Debbie and Jim Linsenbardt of Columbia; one sister and brother-in-law: Martha and Daniel Loesch of Lohman; a sister-in-law: Marinda Pistel of Lohman; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ernest and Walter Pistel; a son-in-law: John Scheperle; a daughter-in-law: Sara Plochberger; and a grandson. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman with Pastor Edward Merckel officiating. Interment will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
