Carolyn D. Glascock, 51, of Chicago, Ill., and formerly of Philadelphia, Mo., died Sunday, July 11, 2010, from injuries received while riding her bicycle to Church. Carolyn was born on November 19, 1958, in Hannibal, Mo. to Tommy and Roberta Glascock . Carolyn was Art Director at her company, HotIdeasCoolDesigns.com and previously worked for Jack's stores in Quincy, Ill. She was actively involved in the worship and prayer ministry at River of Life Church near her home in Chicago. Carolyn enjoyed playing guitar and singing, bicycling, golf and socializing with friends and family. Carolyn was a 1977 graduate of North Shelby High School in Shelbyville, Mo., and a 1981 graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., majoring in graphic arts. She is survived by her father, Tommy; brothers, Kenneth Glascock of San Antonio, Texas, and Dr. Dennis Glascock of O'Fallon, Mo.; six nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Roberta Glascock, on June 7, 2010, and brother, Daryl Glascock on Oct. 6, 2005. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday July 15, at the Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, Mo. Rev. Pete Livingston & Rev. Charles Grubb will officiate. Interment will be in the Philadelphia Cemetery in Philadelphia, Mo. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday July 14, and after 9:30 a.m., Thursday at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel.
