Margaret Level

Margaret Level, 89, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, at The Bluffs. She was born January 21, 1921, in Columbia, the daughter of the late Charles Haley and Lena Rivers (Reid) Goslin. She was united in marriage to Warder S. Level on December 6, 1939, and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Level retired in 1987 after working for 27 years at the University of Missouri in the payroll department as a supervisor. She was a member of Dripping Springs Christian Church and the church quilting club. She loved animals, especially her cat Sweetie, who will dearly miss her. Surviving are 14 nieces and nephews including, Kenneth West, Judy Wagner, Doris Lindsay, Linda Burlingame, Kathy West, Betty Harmon, Connie Mayes, Donna West and Don West. She is also survived by numerous great- nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Lorene West. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with burial following in Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
