Rosemary Bradford

Rosemary K. Bradford, age 85, of Irvine, California, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010, at her home. She was surrounded by her daughter, Carol Ann True; her sister, Ellen Ann Hunter; and niece, Marsha Cave. She was born October 19, 1924, to Abol F. Khan and Ethel (Gray) Khan, of Jefferson City, Missouri. She lived and attended school in Jefferson City. She moved to California in 1944 to be married and remained there. She had lived in California for 65 years but still considered Jefferson City as her home. She worked as a supervisor for Pacific Telephone for 39 years retiring in 1985. She took up golf before retirement and after retiring joined several women's golf groups in Orange County, California. She remained active in both groups until March 2007 when she started treatments for colon cancer. She will be missed by her family and all of her golfing friends. She leaves behind her daughter, Carol Ann True; sister, Ellen Ann Hunter; niece, Marsha Cave; nephew, Kent Hunter; and grand-nephew, Cody Cave. Memorial contributions may be made to the 'Susan G. Komen for the Cure', in Rosemary's honor, at Mid-Missouri Affiliate, 3301 W. Broadway, Suite C, Columbia, MO 65203.
