Mrs. Ada Lee Eveler, age 82 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, December 13, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. Ada Lee was born June 21, 1928, in Boone County, Mo., the daughter of William E. "Bill" and Bertha M. Hardin Clardy. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Ada Lee attended school in rural Boone County. She had been employed as a seamstress with various cleaners including Bogue Cleaners for 10 years. She was later employed with McGraw Edison, which became Shopsmith, from 1959 until ill health forced her retirement in 1983. Survivors include: two sons, William M. "Mike" Eveler and his wife Cheryl of Jefferson City, Mo., and Roger D. Eveler of Jefferson City, Mo.; one daughter, Joyce A. Dover and her husband Eldon of Scott City, Mo.; one sister, Lois Onger and her husband Marvin "Ray" of Holts Summit, Mo.; six grandchildren, two step- grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, one step-great- grandchild, and one great- grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Violet Taylor. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 17, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 17, 2010, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Doyle Sager officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Boone County, Mo. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Assn.
