Rosh Jenkins

Rosh E. Jenkins, age 55, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010, in Ozark. He was born May 19, 1955, in Tuscumbia. Rosh was a 1973 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 1978 graduate of Missouri State University - Springfield. He was married on September 19, 1992, in Elsah, Ill., to Julie Schneider, who survives. He was a B757/767 captain for UPS. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. Along with his wife, he is survived by: his mother, Ardys Stevens; his step-father, R.E. "Steve" Stevens; his children, Brandon Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, and Hannah Jenkins; his sisters and their spouses, Tawna and Mickey Pounders and Leslie and Kenny Reynolds; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Jenkins. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, at the Green Lawn East Funeral Home, Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 9, at Second Baptist Church, with burial in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial donations be made to: Hulston Cancer Center - Cox Health Foundation, 3525 South National, Suite 204, Springfield, MO 65807; or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
