Joe Todd

Joe Douglas Todd, 54, of New Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. He was born February 9, 1956, in Jefferson City, the son of Newman Todd and Dorothy Finn. On May 1, 1987, he was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Judy Neel, who survives at their home. Joe was employed as a drywall finisher with Braun Drywall and was a member of the Painters Local 1185. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by three daughters: Tracy DeBroeck (Kevin) of Jefferson City; Christine Marie Todd of Fulton and Heather Sheri Todd of the home; two sisters: Brenda Schulte (Wayne) of Maries Home and Harriett Graham of Arizona; three brothers: Jim Todd (Linda) of New Bloomfield; Jerry Todd (Judy) of Lohman and Richard Todd (Veronica) of Holts Summit; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son: Joe Douglas Todd Jr. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, at the Slater-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Holts Summit, where Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m., with the Rev. Bruce Williamson officiating. Interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the family's choice.
