DES MOINES, Iowa - Central Methodist junior middle blocker Madison Bond led the Eagles with 16 kills Tuesday in a 25-22, 29-27, 15-25, 19-25, 15-17 loss against No. 11 Grand View. The loss was Central Methodist's first defeat in Heart of America Athletic Conference play.
Bond (Jefferson City High School) also had two digs and led the Eagles with 20.5 points in the five-set match.
Central Methodist (34-4) will go on the road Friday to play against Benedictine.
