He will be assisting in the curriculum development for the Mizzou Made program, and oversee and implement the diversity and inclusivity efforts for all student-athletes and staff.

"Natasha and I are both overjoyed to have this opportunity to come back to Mizzou," Brown said in a statement. "We've always considered ourselves part of the Mizzou family, and I'm looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting in the trenches to help impact Mizzou in a positive way. I'm certainly very grateful to the leadership at Mizzou for the faith they have in me being part of their team again."

Natasha Brown also spent 16 years at Drake, serving as head coach of its women's track and field program since 2000 and men's since 2003. Brown was on 16 U.S. national teams in her career, including the 4x400m relay team at the Barcelona Olympics that won silver. She will be overseeing the women's sprints, hurdles and relays.

"I'm excited to get back to Columbia," Brown said in a statement. "It will be fun to come back and see how it has changed over the years and really get invested back into the program. Having made 16 different national teams, I'm not going to say I have all the answers, but I clearly have some. I'm excited to pour that experience in and really help train the current student-athletes at Mizzou."
