WEAUBLEAU, Mo. - The St. Elizabeth Hornets opened postseason play with a 92-56 win against the Humansville Tigers on Wednesday in the Class 1 District 7 Tournament.
The top-seeded Hornets led the eighth-seeded Tigers 30-13 after the first quarter, 56-26 at halftime and 76-48 after three quarters.
Ross Struemph scored 21 points and Brady Heckemeyer added 19 for the Hornets.
St. Elizabeth (19-5) will face fourth-seeded Climax Springs at 4:30 p.m. today in the semifinals.
