COLUMBIA - Facing each other for the second time in three days, the Battle Spartans avenged Saturday's loss with a 15-5 victory in five innings Monday against the Blair Oaks Falcons.
Blair Oaks led 2-0 after the top of the first, but Battle's offense would score at least three runs in four of the game's five innings.
Nolan Hair hit a two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning for the Falcons.
Carson Wiebe, Cole Jungmeyer and Reid Dudenhoeffer pitched in the game for the Falcons.
Blair Oaks (9-8), ranked No. 3 in Class 3, hosts Boonville today at the Falcon Athletic Complex.
