WAYNESVILLE, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays defeated Waynesville in straight sets Thursday.
Annabelle Maassen led the Lady Jays with 10 kills and 12 digs. Kayla Walters finished with nine kills and Zoe Stratman added six kills and six digs. Paige Reeser tallied 28 assists and 11 digs.
Jefferson City (4-4) plays Saturday in the Hillcrest Invitational.
Jefferson City won Thursday's JV match 25-21, 25-11 to improve to 3-5. Rhakayla Blackmon had seven kills and five blocks.
Waynesville won the freshman match 25-14, 25-14. Abby Blake tallied 10 assists for the Lady Jays, who are 1-7.
