HOLDEN, Mo. - The Versailles boys and girls track and field teams each posted top-five finishes Saturday at the Class 3 District 7 meet.
The Versailles girls finished the day with 91 points to take fourth place. The boys ended up with 86.5 points to place fifth.
Lamar cruised to the boys district title with 156 points, while the Holden girls came away with 136 points to take first place.
Keely Gustafson led the Lady Tigers with a first-place finish in the 400-meter dash. She also took third in the 200-meter dash, in addition to helping the 4x200- and 4x400-meter relays to top-three finishes.
Jonathon Geier had the lone win for the Versailles boys, taking first in the javelin. Geier was also runner-up in the shot put.
