Jays tennis beats Camdenton 9-0

CAMDENTON - The Jefferson City Jays have yet to drop a singles or doubles match this season, blanking Camdenton 9-0 on Thursday for their second straight shutout.

Earning doubles wins for the Jays were Karsten McMillan and Tanner Haugen (8-1), Josh Wilde and Atul Krishnadas (8-1) and Tarun Bathini and Nick Ryan (8-3).

In singles competition, winning for Jefferson City were McMillan (8-0), Wilde (8-0), Krishnadas (8-0), Haugen (8-1), Bathini (8-2) and Alec Krumm (9-7).

Jefferson City (2-0) hosts Marshall on April 5.

In Thursday's JV match, Jefferson City won 9-1 to improve to 2-0.

The Jays' JV team hosts Missouri Military Academy on March 31.
