MOBERLY, Mo. - The Helias Crusaders defeated the Moberly Spartans 9-0 on Tuesday to open the season.
Winners in singles were Dalton Buschjost (8-6), Tristan Grawe (8-4), Jacob Cowley (9-8 (7-2)), Jacob Schepers (8-2), Cory Strope (8-1) and John Loehr (8-1).
The double teams of Buschjost and Grawe (8-2), Cowley and Schepers (8-0), and Strope and Loehr (8-5) all won Tuesday.
The Crusaders also won all three of the JV doubles matches.
Helias (1-0) hosts School of the Osage on Friday.
