Boys Basketball: Jamestown 74, Prairie Home 37

ELDON - The Jamestown Eagles, ranked No. 3 in Class 1, cruised to the championship game of the District 9 Tournament with a 74-37 win against the Prairie Home Panthers on Friday.

Jamestown led 13-7 after one quarter and posted 20-plus points in the next three quarters. The Eagles held a 34-18 advantage at halftime and extended it to 54-28 through three quarters.

Garrett Wolfe led the Eagles with 21 points and Trenton Barbour finished with 19 points.

Jamestown (25-2), the No. 1 seed, will play second-seeded St. Elizabeth (15-11) in the championship game at 7 p.m. today. The Hornets won 51-43 against No. 3 Glasgow in Friday's other semifinal contest.
