Prep Baseball: St. Elizabeth 6, Belle 2

ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. - The St. Elizabeth Hornets won their sixth straight game Monday, defeating the Class 2 No. 8 Belle Tigers by a score of 6-2.

Nolan Heckemeyer allowed just one hit in 6 inning to get the win for the Hornets, giving up one run and three walks while striking out nine.

Dylan Woebe closed the seventh, allowing one run on one hit with three walks and one strikeout.

At the plate, Woebe went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Coltin Green finished with two hits and a run scored and Mason Kemna had one hit, one RBI, one run scored and one stolen base.

St. Elizabeth (7-3) plays today at Linn in Show-Me Conference action.
