The Jefferson City Jays dropped a 5-4 decision Wednesday to Lee's Summit.
The Jays won three singles matches - Josh Wilde (6-0, 6-2), Tanner Haugen (4-6, 7-6, 10-8 tiebreaker) and Alec Krumm (6-3, 6-7, 11-9 tiebreaker). Falling in singles were Karsten McMillan (06-, 3-6), Atul Krishnadas (2-6, 1-6) and Tarun Bathini (6-4, 0-6 4-10 tiebreaker).
Jefferson City's lone doubles win was the team of Haugen and Bathini (9-7). Falling in doubles action were McMillan and Wilde (4-8), and Krishnadas and Krumm (1-8).
The Jays (4-6) play at the Ladue Invitational this weekend in St. Louis.
