Prep Baseball: Eugene 12, New Bloomfield 0

NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - The Eugene Eagles scored in every inning of a 12-0 win in five innings Monday against the New Bloomfield Wildcats in Show-Me Conference action.

Eugene scored three runs in the first, followed by two runs in each of the second and third innings. After adding a run in the top of the fourth, the Eagles sealed the win by run-rule with four runs in the fifth.

Ethan Adrian pitched a two-hit shutout for the Eagles, finishing with 10 strikeouts and three walks. At the plate, Adrian went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.

David Liftin went 2-for-4 with a team-high three RBI. Billy Parr added two singles and Jacob Adrian scored three runs and drove in two for the Eagles.

Luke Nadler had a double for New Bloomfield.

Eugene (6-2, 2-1 Show-Me) hosts Vienna today. New Bloomfield (5-6, 1-2 Show-Me) hosts Prairie Home on Friday.
