COLUMBIA - The Thomas Jefferson boys and girls teams each finished third Wednesday in a Mid-Missouri Conference meet at Oakland Middle School.
The boys posted 81 points, trailing Gentry's 49 and Smithton's 52. Ethan Demarest had Thomas Jefferson's top finish, taking sixth place in 8:27.
Other top finishers for Thomas Jefferson were Brock Schofield (12th, 8:43), Peyton Vogt (20th, 8:57), Ben Lear (21st, 8:59) and Colin Voss (22nd, 8:59).
The girls finished with 77 points. Gentry won the team title with 28 points, followed by West in second with 57. Alyson Linhardt had a seventh-place finish for Thomas Jefferson in 9:56.
