Blair Oaks finishes 7-0 in Tri-County volleyball

VERSAILLES, Mo. - Seven was the magic number Thursday for the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons.

Blair Oaks finished the regular season with a 25-5, 25-14 win against the Versailles Lady Tigers. The Lady Falcons posted a 7-0 record in Tri-County Conference play this season to win their seventh straight conference championship.

Morgan Hoecker led Blair Oaks with nine kills, while Lauren Casey and Lanie Lowry each had seven kills. Ali Juergensmeyer added 21 assists and Katelyn Weber finished with nine digs.

Blair Oaks (23-3) plays next in the Class 3 District 10 Tournament at School of the Osage. The second-seeded Lady Falcons will face the winner of the first-round match between No. 3 Bolivar (23-7-3) and No. 6 Buffalo (8-20-2) in the semifinals at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

In Thursday's JV match, Blair Oaks won 29-27, 25-15. Elsie Villmer had a team-high nine kills, while Madison Mitchell and Paige Henry finished with 15 and 11 assists, respectively. Madison Irvin had eight digs and Taylor Hueste served three aces.

In a one-set contest, Blair Oaks won the freshman match 25-10 to finish with a 15-4-8 record. Hallie Loethen had five kills for the Lady Falcons, Kaelin Forck finished with four assists and Molly Juergensmeyer added four digs. Blair Oaks tallied six aces.
