UNION - The Helias Lady Crusaders just missed on their second upset win in the Union Tournament, falling 49-47 to the Sullivan Lady Eagles in Thursday night's semifinal.
Third-seeded Sullivan led 14-13 after one quarter and 23-18 at the half against seventh-seeded Helias. The Lady Eagles took a 38-32 advantage into the final period.
Ellie Rockers paced Helias with 11 points. Morgan Wieberg added 10, while Lauren Alexander and Ashley Rehagen chipped in with nine each.
Helias (5-8) will face Eureka in the third-place game, which is currently scheduled for Saturday.
