WARDSVILLE, Mo. - The Father Tolton Trailblazers rallied to beat the Fatima Comets 63-52 on Tuesday in the first round of the Class 3 District 9 Tournament.
Fatima led 16-11 after the first quarter and 31-24 at halftime, but the Trailblazers used turnovers to outscore the Comets 22-10 in the third quarter to lead 46-41 heading into the fourth quarter.
Steven Brandt led Fatima with 26 points. Sam Groner chipped in with 14 points.
Brandt, a senior, surpassed the 1,000-point mark in last week's regular-season finale at Linn.
Fatima finishes the season with a 14-10 record.
