HIGBEE, Mo. - The Calvary Lutheran Lions dropped their CCAA conference opener Friday, falling to the Higbee Tigers 67-54.
Higbee led at the end of each quarter, starting with an 18-9 advantage after one quarter. The Tigers continued to lead 39-26 at halftime and 51-41 through three quarters.
Jimmie Wehmeyer led the Lions with 24 points and five assists, while R.J. Mays finished with 10 points.
Calvary Lutheran (2-5) hosts Chamois on Dec. 28.
