ST. ELIZABETH - The St. Elizabeth Hornets topped the Russellville Indians 7-3 on Monday night.
The Hornets had four players with multi-hit games. Nolan Holtmeyer finished 2-for-3 with one RBI and Dakota Kemna was 2-for-4 with one RBI. Colton Green was also 2-for-4 at the plate.
Aaron Blomberg finished 2-for-3 and was also the winning pitcher. He threw five innings and allowed three runs on seven hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Alex Goeller pitched the last two innings and struck out three.
St. Elizabeth (8-1) will play its final game of the fall baseball season Friday at Calvary Lutheran.
